The Dems are up in arms about the SCOTUS leak that confirms they intend to overturn Roe v. Wade. But the theatrical outrage is coming from the party that failed to protect abortion rights for decades. Instead, the Dems continue to use it as a shameless get out the vote tool, doing nothing to enshrine abortion rights into law.

Recently Amazon premiered a documentary titled “Mayor Pete” following Buttigieg on the campaign trail, ending with his reception for his current role as Transportation Secretary. Like the candidate it covers, the documentary itself is pretty bland and uninteresting. But viewed as a piece of political performance art, like a campaign trail book tour, it’s deeply revealing of Buttigieg’s ambition and the segment of media liberals who support him. Read more

People Love Socialism

The numbers are in, and people - people love socialism. But predictably, NYT continue to tells their readers, socialism actually isn’t that popular. One recent headline from Fredrik deBoer said as much: “My Fellow Socialists, We Aren’t Actually That Popular” the other headline once you click into the article, “Democratic Socialists Need to Take a Hard Look in the Mirror.” Both act as though socialism is weak, unpopular, and anemic, which in my estimation couldn’t be further from the truth.
